Why do I keep getting an error message regarding the authenticity of Firefox invalid certificate?

more options

For the past couple of weeks, I keep getting error messages stating that "Cannot guarantee authenticity of the domain to which encrypted connection is established." Application: Firefox URL: apis.google.com Reason: Invalid name of certificate. Either the name is not on the allowed list, or was explicitly excluded.

How do I fix this?

Thanks.

When I search that full error message, it seems to track back to Kaspersky but I only found one thread in which K support asked for more information so that didn't really help in getting you an answer: Safe Money and Certificate Authenticity - Kaspersky Lab Forum.

Is this the only problem you have with certificates, or is this part of a pattern of lots of certificate issues? If you are having issues on multiple secure sites, then we suggest making sure Firefox is set up to work with Kaspersky. For example: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1070934#answer-767045
