Flash Player crashes every single time I try and use it

For the last weeks every single time I have used Flash Player (e.g online games) it freezes and crashes. At best I can get maybe 2 minutes of it working before it crashes and usually takes out all Firefox tabs in the process (have to restart the whole lot).

I wasn't having this issue using Google Chrome although I have for the past 2 days.

I have done a system restore on my own computer, run virus checks, and have updated to the latest versions of varous plugins (Adobe, Java, Flash etc). Yet none of this fixs the constant crashes. It would appear I am not alone in this, but no-one online seems to be able to help or have found a solution.

You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and try this:

This is not a cure, but should let the web page load without crashing.

Flash block {web link} Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on it

I have the latest version of flash (along with all other plugins)

Graphic Driver - no idea what it is but my Acer Updater can't find anything to update, my Windows Update panel thing finds one which has failed for several months (much longer than the Flash issue has been happening).

I've disabled the various things that were mentioned.

I've also selected to "always ask" to use Flash so it doesn't just crash. But most games need it, and so I allow it and it crashes.

It varies from day to day on how long it takes to crash - my least sucessful day was about 10% into loading a game when it crashed. My most successful day was 5 minutes of actual play before it crashed. If it was a one-off, I'd understand but this is every day for the past 2 weeks now that I just can not make it run smoothly.

I switched to Chrome and could use Flash with no problems although it did go down twice in the last 2 days (but Flash has always been a bit like that with certain games)

So any further help? Having done what's been suggested, I'm still having the issue (as it appears other users are from the various questions online)

Wish Mozilla geniuses come up with a solution. How is it so many can have a problem and to Mozilla support it is is it does not exist. Sorry about the snark, but other problems I have with Firefox after two months have not gotten an answer on how to fix it.
