I read Netflix no longer requires Silverlight so I completely removed that program from my computer.

Chrome WILL play Netflix just fine (HTML5 Video) but Firefox will just take me to a page asking me to install Silverlight to play movies on Netflix.

Netflix's requirements indicate that Silverlight is still required to access their services using Firefox.
