Firefox 44.0.1 can't connect to internet in SouthEast UK on Win7 Professional. All pages 'hanging' indefinitely. I can connect to internet on IE. I've cleared FF history, removed and re-added FF from Windows Firewall, made sure Avast antivirus and Malwarebytes are up to date; neither have FF listed as exceptions. My partner's FF (same version) is currently working on a Win7 laptop through the same router, but is a little slow. What else can I do?

hi, can you please see if uninstalling firefox 44 first and then installing the 64bit version from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ does solve this issue for you?

Thanks for the suggestion, but when I went to save my FF settings before uninstalling, FF was working perfectly again, so I'm not uninstalling. Don't know what the glitch was.
