Has there been a change - my outgoing emails haven't gone since Thursday night - it will not accept my password

I hope someone is there! I have to go out shortly but will be back later - two days ago my Thunderbird account [sky with yahoo] stopped working properly - emails come in with no problem, but I cannot send. I get a message asking me to enter a new password as the log in has failed then one saying that message cannot be sent using the outgoing server [SMTP] for an unknown reason.

I have tried all sorts but when I look at the account it says the password is incorrect - it is not. The advisor from Sky seems to think it is something to do with Thunderbird and Windows 10, but I have Windows 7.

Thanks Linda

We have seen a lot of messages relating to yahoo accounts. I suspect they have a system-wide problem at this time.
