Hello,

I have Firefox 45.0.1. When I close firefox and open it again, some of the tabs are blank and only show the favicon. Or if I restore a session from session manager, some of the tabs are blank (no address) with the favicon. I have already deleted all files in "sessionstore-backups" and all sessions, restarted firefox, but the problem is still there. Any solutions? Thank you.

Are you using "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear any personal data?

To see all History and Cookie settings, choose:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"

Use one of these to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox title bar.

  • "3-bar" menu button > Exit (Power button)
  • Windows: File > Exit
  • Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox
  • Linux: File > Quit

No, I am not using "clear personal data" I close with the "X"

Try to close Firefox via the menu to see if that makes a difference.

No, no difference. Is there a different mechanism for closing from menu vs. the "x" ??
