When I send an email, it doesn't show that it already sent it. It shows a bar indicating that it's still being sent, and it's taking too long. AND when I check my email with the browser, I find that it's been already sent, while Thunderbird is still showing that it's still being sent!

Note: "Copying message to Sent folder" takes too long. Is it because I've closed the tab of the email provider?.

Request: I wish it was faster to send emails with Thunderbird than by a web browser.

Is there something with my browser?

It is never going to be faster to send using Thunderbird than a browser, you have already uploaded your mail and files to the internet, before you click send in the browser, so the slowest leg of sending a mail is already been passed.

However, send should usually still be relatively fast. What mail provider are you using
