I am frequently receiving a popup window that is intended to look like an official mozilla firefox screen; however, by checking the URL, I can tell it is not. Also, by going to your site and checking the latest version, my firefox browser is up to date. Do you know how this is happening? What remedies can I apply?

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good ad / pop-up blocker.

The ad blocker seems to have worked. I have not seen the annoying scammer since I applied it. Also, I am amazed at the number of ads that are being blocked. Pages that I want to view are loading much faster. Thanks for the tip!
