when i updated firefox this download manager no longer works in firefox dap is a great downloader. worked well until a few months back i updated firefox and it stopped working what is the problem with firefox seems like every update causes problems i have just about given up on the firefox browser. used to be the best not anymore

The problem is with DAP - it uses an add-on that needs to be updated with every version of Firefox that is released, and the DAP developers don't update it in a timely manner. It won't be a problem for much longer as that type of add-on won't work after Firefox 56 is released and DAP will have to come up with some new way to tie in to Firefox.
