Apparently, with the latest version of Firefox, I can't have an easy to click gmail icon on the tool bar. Anybody know of how I can work around this easily? I like a lot of things about Firefox and I am anything but a fan of Google; however, Firefox has to be easy to use and making me open chrome just to check my gmail is not convenient.

hi, you can either use an addon like https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/gmail-checker-simple/ for example or if you're looking to have a couple of links to different sites handy you may want to enable the bookmarks toolbar: Bookmarks Toolbar - Display your favorite websites at the top of the Firefox window

I found an add-on for this called Open Gmail in a new tab. It is an M on an envelope icon.
