How do I restore the FF 56 UI? I hate the 57 UI!
I like performance improvements, but you ruined the UI. It was not broken, but you fixed it anyway.
Now my fonts are all tiny, I can't see the boundaries between tabs, and transparency is turned on. That makes it much harder to find the edge of a window. (Ask yahoo mail users what they think of the changes, but put on your asbestos underwear first.)
How do I revert FF to the 56 style UI?
I don't mind changes under the hood, but you have ruined the UI :(

Yes, but it's only a temporary fix; eventually we're always forced to update, if only for security fixes.
It's just the UI that's driving me batty, the arrogance of popping a change like this, forcing it down our throats, and not providing a theme to retain the old UI that's been so successful for so long... :(
Hi, don't shoot the messengers! As contributors we have no say in the development. If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
But first, have a look at Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars especially Themes and Density. You should be able to at least improve it.
If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!
Yes, did the feedback thing straight off.
And yes, we know you-all didn't do this, so it's not your fault. Just... very unhappy. And I'll take that as confirmation I'm not missing some canned theme to set things right, so I'll try to tweak things back to a semblance of the old UI. Ah well.
I have the same problem, the new UI is not working, I can't even resize a window (and more problems). I uninstalled FF 57 and installed v56.0.2, deactivated automatic updates and now things are working. I'll wait for version 57.5 or so with the bugfixes...
