I noticed that an upgrade to a recent FF on Macbook Pro started blocking clicks on links in gmail messages. Requires clicking an Allow button, with no obvious way to shut that "feature" off. Instructions online refer to Preferences panes not available to me.

I thought Quantum would fix that. Alas, it's just faster at blocking. Still nothing obvious in the preferences -- except blocking website popups -- looks appropriate, and I'm not interested in allowing website popups.

Many thanks in advance for pointers to something I must be missing.
