All was working well until today. I have four accounts all of which have various folders so I can manage the data. One of my accounts is a sky email. I had to change my sky.com online account password yesterday. Since then no folders/emails are showing for this account. Error message Clientbug Select command is not working. Also I can't see where I can change the password within Thunderbird for this one account. Can anyone help me please ?

To update the stored password:

  • 'Menu icon' > 'Options' > 'Options' > 'Security' > 'Passwords' tab
  • click on 'Saved Passwords'
  • click on 'show Passwords'

You will see mailbox and smtp acount name with the username and passwords for each. Right click on appropraite line and select 'EDit Password' Remove old password and type new password. Click on 'Close' Click on 'OK'

Exit thunderbird and wait a few moments for background processes to complete and then restart Thunderbird.
