Just installed Quantum 59.0.2 and it lags often for a long time. Why?

Every third or fourth search the browser seems to get stuck loading. Eventually it either stops loading with a blank page and I can refresh other times it spins until it finally loads. When it does work it works fast but these lag sessions last almost a full minute. Usually nothing happens and I have to click refresh over and over until it kicks back in./ Its seriously painful.

I do not have multiple windows open. I tried to delete cache and search and history. It happens no matter where I am searching or what I am doing.

HI, please Copy/Paste about:preferences#privacy into the Address Bar then Enter. Go down to Heading : Permissions and at the bottom that heading please make sure there is a Check Mark in the box for Prevent accessibility services from accessing your browser.

Then please go up to General --> Performance and untick everything. change the recommended size lower then see how it runs. Note: 1 = No Multiprocessor = slow again. Try 2 Restart Firefox after making these changes please. Note : Hardware Acceleration is for Video Card, Monitor to see if remain off or to turn back on.
