Thunderbird must send SMTP text to the outgoing server to send an email. How do I display or capture this SMTP text, so I can ensure it is correct? TB 60.9.0 (32), Windows 10 Home

This works perfectly, thanks!

Unfortunately, the line I'm interested in (send AUTH) is rendered unhelpfully as:

"[2300:Main Thread]: I/SMTP Logging suppressed for this command (it probably contained authentication information)"

I may never find out why Thunderbird gets authenticated and my PHP code doesn't.
