If I search for anything on ebay.co.uk, I get an error message from eBay saying Service Unavailable. Underneath an eBay logo it says in plain text

Service Unavailable Click here to try again! Links:

The same search works if I (reluctantly) use Chrome. eBay telephone help told me that this is intentional!!!, and they only support the Chrome browser. I really object to being forced to use a browser that I don't like. I can't see any way to report the issue to Mozilla. Any ideas for getting round the problem?

Hi

I have just tried that same site myself, and it opened okay.

Are you trying to use WiFi or 3G?

If you clear your browsing history and then try the page again, does the message still appear?

I'm having this problem too. It suddenly started about a week ago, 10th April 2020. All other eBay pages are fine.

Other browsers are fine.

Re-installed FF, same issue. Disabled all add-ons

I'm tethering my Nexus 7 gen 2 through my phone. Using either PdaNet or phone's hotspot the result is the same. Due to the lockdown I've not had chance to try a Wi-Fi connection.

I'm using WiFi. My Hudl2 doesn't have 3G / 4G. Clearing the history has no effect.

It's rather annoying that neither eBay nor Mozilla seem to be trying to fix the issue.

Have you tried using the new Firefox Preview browser? I have used this and it opens the page perfectly well (and very fast).
