Hi. i have downloaded the website 360radar.co.uk and the page shows the aircraft on a blank page. the background should be the map of Great Britain.

When opening the above website, the realtime flight map of the aircrafts opens and updates live on the tracking, but the background is blank. The background should be the map of the UK. I have opened the same web page in Google and the map etc shows correctly. How do i get the map backgroung to show please. Thanks Phil

Hi,

Although I don't know where Firefox stores its htmls, Htmls tend to break when downloaded (probably because of external css) I believe that you should delete the downloaded file, as it is probably the cause.

Best wishes,

Are you possibly using Resist Fingerprinting?

When Resist Fingerprinting is enabled then some items are spoofed (TimeZone: UTC, UserAgent: Firefox 68 ESR).

You can check this pref on the about:config page to see if Resist Fingerprinting is enabled and if this pref is user set (bold) reset to false via the right-click context menu.

  • privacy.resistFingerprinting = false

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.

Firefox shows a blueish highlighted shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case Tracking Protection is blocking content. You can click shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection. You can check in the Web Console what content is blocked.
