lost folders, nothing worked
I am using Portable 31.6.0, Win10. From my Local Folders in the left folder panel disappeared sub-structure of the most important and most used/full folder. Yet I can still see appropriate *.sbd files and missing folder names in the profile folder and TB keeps its size 22 GB. I´ve made a multiple copies of TB for fix-testing purposes. So far "Repair Folder" didn´t work, nor the deleting *.msf files. I tried to move all the missing files to the folder "/Data/profile/Mail/Local Folders/Inbox.sbd/8046ff31/" (strange path??) which is set as the Location in Folder Properties, and deleted the *.msf files, but it also didn´t work.

What happens when you create a new profile and point it to a copy of the old profile folder?
Could you be more specific about what I should do? Thanks!
Do I have to delete msf files or something like this?
There is no mention of msf files in the article I linked you to.
Yes, but they don´t know nor you that I have some strange structure with folders like 80db9ec9 which I think can make a mess again if not handled...
You said you have copies of your portable Tbird install, which includes the profile. If not, make a copy of the profile and keep it somewhere else as a backup and fall-back option when things go awry. Once you've done that, create a new profile using the profile manager as described in that article, then point that new profile to your portable profile folder. I'm purposefully overlooking the "strange structure", so don't get stuck on that notion.

It is Portable version so I have to create second profile with Thunderbird Portable 2nd Profile 2.0 app. I wasn´t succesful yet.
Overwriting Profile folder in new installation of TB Port = same problem. Lost folder.
Unfortunately I don't use Tbird portable and I'm unfamiliar with how it works and I honestly don't wanna know. Sorry I couldn't be of more help with this. I wouldn't know if any of the migration information would be helpful in your case because they all cover standard Thunderbird installs and not portable. Perhaps someone else has ideas on how to proceed.
Thanks anyway.
Anyone else can help?
