Hi! I want to bookmark all tabs in Firefox Android. There is no command to Bookmark All Tabs in Ff Android

I have previously tried this: Open Ff on a Windows PC, go to Synced Tabs There is no option to bookmark synced tabs without opening them. Synced tabs are not visible in the Bookmark Manager ("Library"). There is no option to open SOME synced tabs. So I can either click on them one-by-one, or open all synced tabs.

Today, I have 195 synced tabs. While tabs are still loading ("pending"), Bookmark All Tabs doesn't capture them. It takes ages to load these tabs, they may never load until I click on each opened tab. This is unworkable even if I do it in batches.

I might try to clear browser history for today, open all synced tabs, see if I can work with History + Tabs + Bookmarks better than synced tabs. Then I'll try to compare the bookmarks I've collected with the synced tabs.

Hoping some clever developer can make a feature to make this less ridiculous.

As I mentioned, I have now cleared my History and tried to save synced tabs to bookmarks via PC History. Here are the results:

Cleared History for today Go to Synced Tabs > Open All in Tabs Confirmation box says it will open 195 tabs. Confirmed.

Go to History. I could see the synced tabs from my Ff Android loading in Ff on PC from the size of the scroll bar in the History pane getting smaller and smaller. Waited for it to finish (as far as I can tell).

Once all the synced tabs seem to have loaded and are visible in History: As an audit: Right-click "Today" and click Open All in Tabs Confirmation box says I'd be opening 258 tabs - not 195 tabs it previously said it loaded. Cancelled. My trust in Firefox whithers.

Audit again: Right-click "Today" again > Copy Pasted to Notepad as text, copied and Pasted to Excel - 181 lines - that doesn't match either the number of synced tabs, or the number of tabs history says I loaded today. Checked to see if there were duplicates in Excel - hard to tell how many - similar URLs with different endings are present.

Audit again: History: Today: Copy Pasted to Notepad as text, Select all (text I just pasted), copy (definitely plain text), Pasted to Excel - 264 lines !

Back to Ff on PC... Bookmarked All Tabs to a folder anyway, as my intention was to save the 195 from Ff Android, and if I have extras, hopefully haven't lost any. I can't trust that I haven't lost any :(

Go to Bookmarks, the folder I just saved all open tabs to Right-click to open all in tabs. Confirmation box says it will open 163 tabs. Cancelled.

Right-click the "New Tab" at very left > Close Tabs to the Right Confirmation box says "You are about to close 195 tabs. Are you sure?" That number DOES match the number of tabs I thought I was syncing and opening, if not the numbers recorded in History, the number when copied to either Notepad or Excel, or saved bookmarks.

Call it quits feeling dismayed, confused, frustrated, a lack of trust, but always hopeful that something can be improved.

Hi bodwyn

There is currently no way to save all open tabs as bookmarks in Firefox for Android. You will need to save each one invidually.

if you have synced tabs turned on in your Firefox Account and are using the new Firefox Preview browser, you can see the open tabs you have from your desktop (or other device) from the Firefox Preview menu under Synchronised tabs.

I hope this helps.
