Since the latest Firefox update (77.0.1) pages no longer stay put. When I scroll down they automatically jump back to the top. Did a setting get changed with the update or is there something I need to adjust to get it to stop doing this? Thanks.

That certainly doesn't sound normal.

Does it seem that the page may be reloading in response to events like scrolling to a new story (in a news site's story feed) or on a timer?

Does it matter what method you use to scroll? For example, mouse wheel, scroll bar, touchpad, keyboard.

I suspect it's due to loading adds etc.. Pages which have sat for a while do not seem to have the problem. It makes no difference how I scroll.
