I wonder if there is any change to the firefox. After I re-install the system, I notice every few days my active login to sites such yahoo mail and facebook will gone. Not only I need to enter password but also I will have to enter txt verification code again as I never log in those site before.

Hi

Are you using "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the browsing history ?

Firefox 82+ comes with a feature to automatically purge the cookies for websites that haven't been visited recently.

You can disable the feature to purge known tracking cookies automatically via the about:config page.

  • privacy.purge_trackers.enabled = false

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can click the button to "Accept the Risk and Continue".

I didn't touch it and appear it is enabled and I will disable to see if it helps.

However it shouldn't be the case as I check my yahoo email or facebook message daily. I do have several yahoo emails and i only checked one regularly but it doesn't make sense I lost all my yahoo email login. I have to enter 2 step auth for every account again.
