After the latest update I can no longer have each tab open with the same custom url.

I want each tab to open with the duckduckgo home page, but the only option to automatically have duckduckgo after the first tab is opened is to specify it as my default search bar, BUT this allows firefox to track what I search for, and the point of having duckduckgo is not to be tracked.

Can I change this?

You can look at this extension.

Note that the extension has a setting for setting the focus (location bar or webpage).
