Hi, I just paid $99.00 for the update to microsoft office on my macbook pro. The download will not open due to the message: "Microsoft_Office_16.67.22111300_Installer.pkg” cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. It cannot verify this app is free from malware."

It is a purchase from the microsoft website. Is there a way to set up firefox to allow opening this installer? Thanks.

This isn't a Firefox software or install you need to contact Microsoft Office support about the download and install issue.

Not a issue with the Firefox web browser.

Searching for say " cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. It cannot verify this app is free from malware " resulted in articles like these two. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202491 https://support.apple.com/en-us/guide/mac-help/mh40616/mac
