Today my Firefox browser has started muting my streaming video after 40 seconds and I need to pause/start or go back 10 seconds to restart the sound. It is really annoying. I have updated and restarted both my computer and Firefox, and tried different streaming services, but it didn't fix it.

Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

1)Disable extensions: Try disabling all of your extensions and see if the issue persists. If it doesn't, you can re-enable them one by one to see which one is causing the problem. 2)Clear your browser cache and cookies: Sometimes, a buildup of browser data can cause issues. Clearing your cache and cookies may help resolve the problem. 3)Check your audio settings: Make sure the volume on your computer is turned up and that the audio output device (e.g. speakers or headphones) is selected correctly. 4)Check for conflicting software: Some programs or browser extensions can conflict with Firefox and cause issues. Disable or remove any such programs or browser extensions. 5)Try in Safe Mode: Try starting Firefox in Safe Mode to disable all extensions and custom settings. To start Firefox in Safe Mode, click the menu button , click Help and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled. 6)Reset Firefox: If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting Firefox to its default settings. This will remove all extensions, custom settings, and browsing data, but it will keep your bookmarks, history, and passwords. To reset Firefox, click the menu button , click Help and select Troubleshoot Information. Click the Refresh Firefox button.

I hope the suggestions would be of help
