Firefox completely wiped my bookmarks and saved passwords
On 10/5/2024 I suddenly had no access to my saved passwords for websites, all my bookmarks were gone and no autofill works anymore. I have searched and searched for anything relating to these missing saves in password manager, I've used EaseUS, I've tried system restore. It's like my my saves were completely wiped! When I did a system restore, Firefox uninstalled itself completely when it shouldn't have. Now it's like I never had Firefox on this pc and there's no history or anything dated before today 10/6/2024. I've tried import from other browsers and there's nothing there. I'm a bit upset here, is my history, saved passwords, bookmarks and, autofill just gone and irretrievable?

Jade, you could try checking whether any other Firefox profiles have the missing data. See: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recover-user-data-missing-after-firefox-update
Hi TechHorse, I did try that but the folders there all only contain content with the date 10/6/2024. There is no other profile there from before.
Jade, here are some other standard things to try.
Sometimes missing passwords can be retrieved using the logins-backup.json file in the Profile folder on the hard drive. Although this would need to be done sooner rather than later.
If you do not know where your specific active Profile folder is, see here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data
To attempt password recovery:
- open your Profile folder on the hard drive
- close Firefox if it is running
- move logins.json to a backup folder
- copy logins-backup.json to a backup folder
- in the profile folder, rename logins-backup.json to logins.json
- restart Firefox
If this doesn't work then you can always exit Firefox and then restore the original two files.
Also, you might be able to restore bookmarks from Firefox's own backups. See the "Restoring from backups" section here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/restore-bookmarks-from-backup-or-move-them

I tried, still there's nothing from before showing. I give up as I've gone in circles trying to restore and it's just not working. Mozilla wins. Thank you for your time trying to help, I do appreciate it.
