When I tried to configure a Netgear router in FF, wireless settings were not displayed. Had to use IE, when all worked well. Is my FF OK or in need of fixing ?

This happened

Not sure how often

1. Your UserAgent string in Firefox is messed up by another program that you installed. It can cause problems on some websites. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_Agent

type about:config in the URL bar and hit Enter If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page. Filter = general.useragent. Right-click any preference that shows as user set_ and select Reset__ Then restart Firefox.

2. Are you sure JavaScript is turned on and that you're not using an extension that blocks JavaScript? That caused a problem with accessing my Linksys router preferences until I allowed that IP address in the NoScript extension.
