I have an AT&T Motorola Backflip Android (sort of; AT&T limits download sources) phone - Is there any way I can use Firefox Beta on my phone?

When I downloaded Firefox Beta for Android I got a popup telling me it was an unknown/untrusted source and could not be installed; great going At&T. Any suggestions on a workaround?

Future versions of mobile Firefox will be available in the Market.

However, our official Firefox releases are not compatible with the Motorola Backflip. For details, see: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android

You can install experimental versions of Firefox on your phone, but it requires using the "adb" command-line tool from the Android development kit. You can find instructions via Google if you are interested.
