I want to remove Qtime and all its components from my PC(XP), and FF. This is what I have done sofar:
PROGRAM AND FEATURES: -Removed all Apple programs.
1. iTunes 2. QuickTime 3. Apple Software Update 4. Apple Mobile Device Support 5. Bonjour 6. Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
C DRIVE:
1. Program FilesApple Software Update
2. Program FilesBonjour
3. Program FilesiPod
4. Program FilesiTunes
Program FilesQuickTime
REGEDIT:
1. HKEY_CURRENT _USER/Software/Apple Computer, Inc.
2. HKEY_CURRENT _USER/Software/Apple Computer, Inc./iTunes
3. HKEY_CURRENT _USER/Software/Apple Computer, Inc./iTunes/Parental Controls
4. HKEY_CURRENT _USER/Software/Apple Computer, Inc./Quick Time
5. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Apple Computer, Inc.
6. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Apple Computer, Inc./iPod
This leaves me with FF and the: -Tools>Add-0ns>Plugins>QuickTime Plugin
this is the Plugin that I want to remove, there is no UNINSTALL option, and I have tried the FF Safe Mode as well.
How do I remove this Plugin?

You can remove the plugin by deleting the plugin files. Search your computer for a file called npqtplugin.dll, in the same location as that file there will be files called npqtplugin2.dll, npqtplugin3.dll up to npqtplugin6.dll. You can delete all of those files plus nsIQTScriptablePlugin.xpt and QuickTimePlugin.class

OK...so I removed all the QT files in Moz FF folder (2.dll-6.dll).
I cant find the: -nsIQTScriptablePlugin.xpt -QuickTimePlugin.class Where in C:/ would I find these?
BTW...Qtime is now gone from the FF>Tools>Add-ons>Plugins.
If the nsIQTScriptablePlugin.xpt file isn't in the plugins or components folder then it is OK.
Thank you for your time
OOOPS,,,spoke too soon. I've been having problems with the puter, so I've been doing a lot of cleaning, and you can't clean without a good cleaner. Along along comes CCleaner, found 214 broken/damaged/unused reg entries,,,,64 of them being QT. I guess that wasn't the only place to 'CrapCleaner' things out.
