Supposedly CTRL-E and CTRL-K are keyboard shortcuts to insert your cursor in the search box in the upper-right corner of Firefox. Only CTRL-K is working, which is inconvenient because I have to use two hands to press CTRL-K, whereas with CTRL-E, I only need one hand.

How do I fix this?

The Ctrl-E shortcut has been removed from Firefox 4, you can restore it with the Change Search Shortcut add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/change-search-shortcut/
