How do I change my username? I mistakenly registered using my real name as user name. Under "edit" I tried to change my name as it appears when I ask a question, but it doesn't work. It didn't change it even after I restarted firefox several times. If there is no way to change the user name, how do I withdraw my account so I can start over? I tried to register using another username, but it says my email address is already registered, which of course, is true. Argh!! Whatever method that would remove my real name from the two questions I've asked, would be preferred.

I posted the q there as you suggested. Thanks for the link. But rather than click "solved it" I'll leave this question open for now in case somebody knows a solution.
