  • Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
  • Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
  • Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
  • Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).

If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.

It's getting soooooooooooo very old that other software is getting blamed for Firefox not working properly. It's amazing that everything is working fine until there is an update. I'm having nothing but problems with Firefox 6.0 in Windows 7. Photos won't load, or the whole web page won't load. No problems with Google Chrome or IE. Hasn't Firefox ever heard the saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"!!!??? GEEZ!!!

I've had this problem since Firefox 6.0 came out. I reinstalled a backup image file from back in June, uninstalled FF, did all updates, installed Firefox 3.6.21 and everything was fine. After using it for a while, I downloaded and installed FF 6.0 and the same problem is back. When I go to various websites, part of the images on the page will load, then it stalls out. Sometimes hitting stop and refresh will help, sometimes not.

My OS is Windows 7 Pro. I'm really getting frustrated with this and almost ready to give up and start using Chrome.

Revert-back, undo update, restore previous version I was so fed up with trying to access my websites Page-manager (MS office Live) which stopped displaying correctly since the last update from Mozilla.

I decided enough is enough and finally found the page to download

Firefox 3.6

>>> http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

I just downloaded and installed it - restarted and it works!!!!! Didn't un-install previous version beforehand and it 'switched' with no problem.

Now my page-manager works and it took only minutes, compared to the many hours searching for a solution.
