I installed 8.0. I then added Google as a startup tab using the "Pipe" after Yahoo Mail. It was then it starting crashing at startup as it tried to open both tabs. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Still it crashed, but I saw it was now trying to open four tabs: Yahoo, Google, Yahoo, Google. I uninstalled again using Revo Uninstaller Pro and found everything about Firefox I could delete. Reinstalled... same propblem.

Not sure what Revo Uninstaller Pro is or whether it was a good idea to use it. (Also I note elsethread trying to use Windows Restore points may not always be helpful)

The Crash report did not produce info I found useful but for the record

P.S. sorting out the home page should be relatively trivial, if we can prevent the crashes.
