Firefox 9 always asks me if i want to save my passwords on all websites but when I click on "remember password", nothing happens and I have to close the box manually. I went to the setting and i'm not in private browsing, it's set to remember everything in the privacy section. I know certain websites don't allow saving passwords but Firefox asks me on all password websites. NONE of them work which I find odd.

You posted here with Firefox 10.0a2 (Aurora) and mentioned Firefox 9 (Beta), are you using both versions? If so, do you have separate Profiles for each version, and are launching the correct Profile with each version? If not, you may be creating your own problem. If you have no idea what I am talking about, you probably shouldn;t be messing with pre-release versions of what will be Firefox in a month or two.

I get what you're talking about. I've just downloaded Aurora to see if I'd get the same issue as in Firefox 9 and I am. I've had this issue with every version of Firefox since they've changed this "remember password dialog box". Non beta versions included.
