Opening an MHT file created 300+ tabs

more options

I opened an MHT file from XP SP3 Explorer into FireFox 9.0.1 which opened over 370 tabs which i can't delete other than individually.

I thought of moving them to a new tab group and deleting that, but can't get into the tab group manager.

I also deleted the .MHT file and closing/opening FF; that's when I found out how many new tabs there were.

At the time i didn't have any add-on for MHT's but now i have UnMHT 5.7.0.

You get that problem if you select the Firefox program to handle a file if you get an "open with" dialog.

Hi Cor-el, thanks for your reply.

I changed the .MHT Content Type action to 'Always Ask', closed and reopened FF but it came up as before. This time I can open the Tab Group manager but couldn't select a group of icons.
