Firefox Desktop, where is the database of allowed sites, which can automaticly reload? I.e. when Firefox is set to prevent autoreloading. I allowed a site by accident and now need to find where I can UN Allow it. Thanks.

Firefox Desktop v9.01, when Firefox is set to prevent auto-reloading.

Where is the database of allowed sites, which can automatically reload?

I allowed a site by accident and now need to find where I can disable, the Allow.

Thanks.

Doh, sorry about the way the post turned out. First time poster and had no idea how this forum worked. It's extremely confusing compared to any forum I've ever posted in, in the last 12+ years.  :p

Hi,

You can view all the different permissions for the site by right-clicking on the page and View Page Info > Permissions. Page Info Tools (Alt + T) > Page Info, Right-click > View Page Info.

The general settings corresponding to these and the exceptions are located in Tools (Alt + T) > Options: Content, Privacy, Security, and Advanced > Network, except for Share Location.

Thanks for your reply Vivek.Wilfred.

I check all those but none seem to store the data from the "prevent autorefresh" function, at least afai can see.

In case it would help, I'll list the site. I initially allowed it but it refreshes so often I don't have time to make it to the bottom of the page, without stories shifting or disappearing. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/

Thanks.

Please check if Warn me if websites try to redirect or reload the page is enabled and disable it. It is a global setting and I think there is no individual site options. I'm not sure if add-ons can enable per site settings. You can check in Tools (Alt + T) > Add-ons > Extensions (on the left) for any such extensions that may have been manually installed. See if this extension helps you block the page refresh with that website.

Thanks for the replies Vivek.Wilfred and the-edmeister.

Yes, I defiantly have the switch "warn me when webpages try to redirect or reload the page" enabled. I would like it on, afaik there must be a data base storage of sites, allowed. Maybe it's just not accessible to users?

I'll try the link, I had hoped to do it with Firefox alone but it looks good.

Thanks
