I use MSN Hotmail and when I attempt to attach a file, I get a message that the Silverlight plugin has crashed and there is no report available. So I now open Hotmail using Internet Explorer when I want to attach something, but would rather use Firefox for everything. Today's update to Firefox 10 did not change this problem at all.

This suggestion did not change anything. I updated Silverlight to version 5, closed and reopened my browser, and attempted to attach a file to an email. This opened a Microsoft dialogue box saying that the application has failed. I sent error report and closed the box. The area of the Hotmail page where attachments are indicated states that the Silverlight plugin has crashed and that there is no report available.
