Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

@the-edmeister, I am still waiting for feedback on it from the gurus at FF @cor-el, tried that and it didn't work. But strangely, when I 'upgrade' to FF9, I regain full functionality.
