This afternoon, I tried to upload a jpeg onto a forum without success, but was successful in IE. I then tried to attach a jpeg into a BT Yahoo Mail email with no success, but it would attach a Word doc. I had been able to attach a jpeg earlier in the day. Again, I can attach jpegs in into Yahoo Mail when using IE as my browser. How can I resolve this?

My instinct reaction is to just try again -- it might just be something temporary with the site. Firefox should have no problem uploading any type of file, because the underlying mechanism to file upload is the same regardless of file type.

However, if the problem continues and it's indeed restricted to Firefox, another thing to try is to clear your cookies and cache:

Thanks for that. I did clear my cookies and cache but it had no effect. I got a download link for an earlier version of Flash Player that has solved the problem. here:
