When Firefox opens automatically, there is no Norton Toolbar. When I close it and reopens, I always get the question if I want to install the add-on Norton Toolbar 2012.7.4.1. I allow the installation, and then Firefox reopens, and everything is OK. The next time I start my computer, the same thing happens over and over again. My startpage is Google.se

Maybe Norton is causing that by restoring some files or protecting them against changes that Firefox tries to save.

Some security software has sandbox features and restore the previous state on a reboot and in that case you need to disable that feature in the security software.
