I am running the latest stable version of Firefox (it says 18.0) on android gingerbread (galaxy ace 2).

I would say half or more websites I visit that require text input (e.g. bing.com) it enters the text backwards. What I mean by that is after typing a character the cursor jumps back to the start of the line.

I've found a loads of cases with people stating this fault but most date back to 2011 and the answer is simply 'have you tried the latest alpha'.

Surely this is a high priority bug and 2 years is enough notice to fix such a trivial bug that has such a high impact crippling the entire application?

Please try Firefox 19 which can be found as FIrefox Beta in the Play Store. It has several major keyboard fixes.
