I am running mac 10.6.8 and just want my old browser back which was not linked to yahoo. Yahoo encouraged me to get 21 but I don't want. How do I get 20 unlinked to yahoo back.

Ohhhh... did you download from Yahoo? You can "unbundle" Firefox 21 from their toolbar and custom settings.

First, disable or remove the Yahoo! Toolbar extension here:

Tools menu > Add-ons > Extensions

Second, if your search providers need to be reset to Google, you can use this extension (it runs once and unloads again):

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/searchreset/

Hope that does it.

Download Firefox from www.mozilla.org and it will not come with any toolbars including the Yahoo one.
