I tried to install AdBlock Plus and NoScript Security Suite add ons. Both of these download.

In case of AdBlock , it says that it could not be installed because it could not match the add on firefox expected.

In case of NoScript , it says the same. Before it would say that it appears to be corrupt. Now I can't install even the Automatically Add add on . It says it appears to be corrupt.

Please help me.

hello Harshith18, please try to reset firefox (this will keep you bookmarks and passwords) and try again afterwards: Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings

Sad to say that it didn't help.

It says that it could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt.

It is possible that anti-virus software is corrupting downloaded files or is interfering otherwise.

Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
