Hi i know how to control "junk mail" but i'd want to know when you delete "junk mail and normal mail " where do they are stored in which folder ? i suppose that they are stored in a folder in thunderbird but i don't know which if they are not stored in thunderbird where are they stored that i can completely delete them from my computer do they are deleted by "CCleaner " as done for firefox or is there a way to completely delete them otherwise waiting to reading from you Best regards

If you delete Normail Mail it moved to TRASH folder

  • If its IMAP it stored in your Mail Server
  • It its POP3 then it stored in your local machine

Once you delete the Junk Mails, it will be removed completely from System and server.

CCleaner won't delete your emails, even if its in TRASH folder.

Thunderbird > Left Side Panel > Choose the Email Id

  • Right Click and Select "Settings"
    • EMail > Server Settings > Message Storage
    • Check [x] Empty Trash on Exit, so whenever your closing your thunderbird your TRASH will be cleaned automatically.
