Financial company www.gmo.com website will not come up in Firefox 32.0.02. Server Not Found is only result. Safari loads website without any issue and Firefox for Windows computer in house loads the site without a problem. All other websites that I access, including banks, Amazon, etc load normally.

What/why would Firefox Mac version not be able to connect/load this website?

The company IT people tell me that no one else has reported this issue and other people in my business can access the site. And they cannot replicate the problem.

My ISP provider could not see anything from their perspective. And, all computers on modem/router in the house access everything else without any problems.

Does anyone have any ideas about what would be the cause of this or how to go about troubleshooting?

Thank you for your time.

It sounds like it is something on the computer. It may be the cookies that need to be individually removed from the Firefox profile.

To do this go to the Firefox Menu, tap on Preferences, then tap on Privacy then remove cookies or Show cookies. Search for the sites giving you issues and remove them. Restart Firefox.

it could also be that you need to add a DNS server to your connection. 8.8.8.8 is google, but I am not sure if this would affect it considering that the server is not found, not that there is no connection, which is why it does not sound like a connection issue but a cache issue. Try to disable IPv6 (check for other possible causes as well).

Thank you very much and congratulations on sussing out the issue. I removed the site's cookie as you recommended. Then, went to the website and the site loaded up perfectly.

Much appreciated and Best of Luck to All
