Mozilla disabled plug ins that are up to date???

Mozilla has disabled my plug ins, yet when I go to their update page, it says those plugins that are disabled are up to date...a real pain to figure all this out. I just set up this operating system and the plugins are newly installed too.

I now have to enable flash manually on every site I want to use because they are stuck on "Ask to activate" and "Always activate" is not selectable.

Now I would have happy if I could have just auto updated to keep mozilla happy but when I go to the update page or whatever the page is that shows what out of date and what's not, there is no way to easily update my already up to date plugins Mozilla has deactivated.

How can I get my plugins to work and how can I make it my choice to update or not and not Mozilla's choice?

The 15.0.0.239 was not the last Flash 15 version as15.0.0.242 and older is blocked and vulnerable. The 15.0.0.246 is not affected though according to Adobe.

The plugin check page needs to be manually updated so the version it currently says is current may not be say for Flash. Check Flash version at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

For Firefox on Windows the current Flash player versions are 16.0.0.235 and the extended support version 13.0.0.259 at https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

https://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/flash-player/apsb14-27.html

Flash Player Plugin 10.3.183.66 to 15.0.0.242 (click-to-play) has been blocked for your protection. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/blocked/p794

Thanks, James...that solved the issue. I guess I got so used to this all being so easy and automatic, I got spoiled into getting upset with the slightest inconvenience of having to think and didn't look closely at what was going on lol.

Thanks again,

Kenny
