Hello, I've recently switched computers and moved my e-mail accounts over my copying the "profiles" over (it was a mac > windows so was the only way). Even before installing those profiles thunderbird has been pretty slow and jams frequently, but with one account in particular (my main e-mail which recieves the most e-mails by far) jams EVERY TIME I open an e-mail. I've archived about half of the e-mails that where once in this inbox and it hasn't helped... any ideas ?? I never had any issues with jamming before moving computers at all.

Contact5 McAfee support tell them your issues and they will fix it.

There is some McAfee information here https://wiki.mozilla.org/Thunderbird:Testing:Antivirus_Related_Performance_Issues but over the last two years, it might be three, they have released one version after another with different issues causing Thunderbird to lockup, not send mail or just run slow. Hence sending you to them, really I have no idea anymore which problems affect which versions.

They can do remote fixes if you use their online chat service.
