I check several email accounts using Thunderbird and new emails go into a common inbox.

I have set up a new email account and would like the emails to go into my existing inbox. I can't find a setting to make this happen.

Help please!

Right click the account in the folder pane and select settings > sever settings > advanced button. Select use other inbox and select local folders.

No option for that? You are using IMAP mail account and a global inbox is not an option. The closest options is; On the toolbar > Folders > Unified >

That's brilliant, thank you.

First option, advanced settings was what I needed. I didn't think to look under the server settings, I was looking under 'Copies and Folders'.

There are some truly Bizarre locations in Thunderbird. This is One of them IMO. But as most people these days use IMAP. It is not worth chasing to be moved somewhere else IMO.
