Dear support,

The Adobe Flash plug-in crashes every time it tries to run. The problem only happens within Firefox -- Adobe Flash works fine in Chrome.

I've tried the suggested solutions in the article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/adobe-flash-plugin-has-crashed, but none helped.

Please help me fix this issue. I'd hate to switch to another browser.

Thanks.

See if there are ant crash reports.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it and select Submit.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

Please click on each of those Crash Reports from the last few weeks to submit each of them to the Mozilla Crash Reports submission server manually and make sure the BP- prefix is added. For some strange reason none of those crash reports were submitted.

Sorry, I misunderstood your directions. Below are the report IDs after I've clicked on them.

For some time now, a lot of Mac’s with Microsoft programs have been crashing. Check with Microsoft / Mac support sites.

Are you saying that Microsoft programs I have installed on Mac are somehow causing Adobe Flash to crash whenever it runs on Firefox?

Could you elaborate on this a little more because I don't understand. How could Microsoft programs interfere with Adobe Flash? And if this is true, how come Adobe Flash works perfectly fine on other browsers I use on Mac (safari and chrome).

Thanks in advance.

I do not know if flash is the problem, or the victim, All I can add is what I said above about Mac and Microsoft.

As a test, download the current full installers for your Microsoft programs and save them. After, un-install those programs. Then reboot.

Is there any problem without Microsoft? Later, run the installer and try again.
