I used to be able to cut and paste photos from websites into Word or my Photo folder (Windows 7), but I can't anymore. it works in Windows explorer.

Can you please share the exact steps that you are taking in order to copy and paste? (for example, are you dragging and dropping, are you right clicking and selecting "Save image As?")

Also what site does this happen in, some site prevent copying of pictures.

Before, all I had to do was right-click, then click Copy. I would then go to Word, or my photos, or wherever , then right-click, then click paste,and there it was . Now when I do this, I follow the same procedure, but when I go to wherever and right-click, the paste option is grayed out.

I have also tried to use the copy image, save as, etc. options, but when I again use the paste ( in the case of copy image), the paste option is again grayed out, or in the case of save as, it just doesn't allow me to use it.
