When NOT in private browsing mode, and I try to enter words to search, auto-complete reproduces the complete web address of a site I've visited during private browsing, so I can't open a Firefox search in front of anyone. How can I block or erase these web addresses from autocomplete?

Chosen solution

Hi

I recommend that you have a read of this article that will walk you through how to delete specific elements of your browsing history.

The option you will need to use in this instance should be Form & Search History.

I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.
